My textiles are inspired by colour, manipulated through hand dying processes and the layering of subtle patterns taken from nature’s still life.
The scarf is relatively light and very soft to touch, dip-dyed by hand onto luxurious sand washed silk then screen-printed with layers of subtle pattern that create tones of indigo that flow into shades of blue, grey and sand.
The nature of the fabric, the dye techniques and the process of printing by hand means that all scarves will vary slightly …this also means your scarf is unique!
The scarf is framed with a single line stitch and a softly frayed edge.
Dimensions: 65cm x 190cm it’s long length means you can elegantly wrap it round your shoulders or casually gathered and knot for the perfect day time wear.
Care is simple: Hand wash in cold water with delicate detergent, lay out flat immediately after washing or drip dry.
