Designer Interview - Laema

The designers behind Laema say their handbag line is “a representation of our friendship and the way we love working together.” Designers Laëtitia and Mathilde design and knit each part of each handbag themselves, so their bags are entirely original. They design colorful, original patterns for their bags, and knit their own prints. “We really believe that knitting brings back memories for people,” Laëtitia says, which is why Laema bags are pieces to treasure. The spacious bags are inspired by some of the vintage items Laëtitia and Mathilde carry in their Paris boutique, Chez Les Filles.
